Mitigate iron sulfide, corrosion, and scale formation with a single treatment
Baker Hughe's WCW3444 triple combination product is a first-of-its-kind. It is specially formulated to address and control three frequent oilfield production challenges: iron sulfide, corrosion, and scale formation. This product contains tetrakishydroxymethyl phosphonium sulfate (THPS) as an iron chelating agent to dissolve iron sulfide deposits that can lead to under deposit corrosion, plugging and failures. The corrosion inhibitor provides protection against corrosion in sweet and sour systems under high and low wall shear stresses. The broad spectrum scale inhibitor is effective against a wide range of oilfield scales. WCW3444 triple combination product can be applied downhole through a stainless steel capillary string up to temperatures of 200°F (93°C).
