Rapid X - Digital X-Ray
Non-metallic TCP, RCP, GRP, Flexibles and Cables
Up to now the energy industry has been looking for solutions to inspect the integrity level on the pipeline assets since they were only able to inspect a small sample of the pipeline hence working on assumptions with statistical predictions that the entire pipeline, umbilicals and cables (this now includes wind farm cables) would be in the same condition. There is a grey area of liability should issues occur during or following installation since manufacturers are rendered unable to provide a certified reassurance.
Now this is history since our new Digital high-speed X-Ray technology can inspect through multi-layered complex pipe structures of non-metallics such as Unbonded Flexible Pipe and Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) which were previously un-inspectable. The full length of spoolable pipes can be scanned up to a microscopic level which enables us to provide our clients with a full detail analysis of their pipeline, allowing them to reassure operators and control the quality of the pipeline providing a full traceable digital record of its lifecycle which can be easily monitored. In a nutshell, this analysis will reduce Risks, optimise performance, reduce costs in the long run and eliminate in-field failures.
