Dutch companies in Zuid-Holland have more opportunities to promote their technologies globally
THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS --- InnovationQuarter has joined the Netherlands Energy Technology Platform (NETP), a digital exhibition exclusive to Dutch technologies. This platform will provide more regional and global exposure for Dutch companies in Zuid-Holland at a time when business connectivity and mobility are limited as a result of the pandemic.
With InnovationQuarter on board the NETP, companies in their network have the opportunity to showcase their innovative technologies to potential clients abroad and get support for international business development activities.
“Zuid-Holland is home to many companies that are supporting and working to accelerate the Energy Transition. We have a robust industry cluster composed of companies of varying sizes, some of the world’s best technical universities, innovation hubs, support infrastructure and legal environment. By adding a dynamic platform to the formula, the picture for a faster Energy Transition in the region is completed,” said TechnologyCatalogue.com Co-founder and Managing Partner Erik Nijveld.
The NETP is an initiative by the diplomatic networks in Brazil and the Gulf Area, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and TechnologyCatalogue.com, the fastest-growing technology platform in the Energy sector.
“InnovationQuarter has become a reputable network partner in the field of sustainable energy. The province of Zuid- Holland offers enormous business opportunities in offshore wind, industrial electrification, biofuels and waste-to-value projects. We see the NETP as a great partner for us to expand the support we offer to Dutch companies who intend to explore or expand international markets, especially those targeting businesses in the global energy industry,” Loek Becker Hoff, senior account manager Energy & Circular at InnovationQuarter emphasised.
As the Regional Economic Development Agency for Zuid-Holland, InnovationQuarter is aligning the efforts of government organisations and research institutions to facilitate and support companies in designing a smarter, cleaner and healthier future. To do so, InnovationQuarter organizes collaborative innovation programmes and subsidies, sets up testing and demonstration facilities and invests in innovative and fast-growing companies in the region through all phases of company maturity, utilizing 4 public regional funds. To strengthen the local clusters, InnovationQuarter also attracts and assists international companies with establishing and growing their business in Zuid-Holland.
