T1000 Wireline Cablehead Thermometer
Electronic Replacement for Mercury Maximum reading thermometers
Page last modified
April 11 2024
In the past, Maximum reading mercury thermometers were placed in logging cable heads to get a uniform, independent downhole temperature measurement. With the banning of mercury, AccSensum have developed the T-1000 thermometer (patented) allowing temperature vs time logs for the entire run duration.
Pros & Limitations
1
Up to 3 independent temperature measurements per run
1
Installation does not interfere in any way with wireline tool string or telemetry
1
With multiple runs, Horner plot to determine static temperature can be generated
1
Can be used to determine temperature gradients
0
Requires use of small lithium batteries
