Soak Sleeve and Syringe
Restores safety valve functionality with chemicals
The Oilenco Soak Sleeve and Syringe is a downhole well intervention system used to restore functionality of safety valves through targeted chemical treatment. The Soak Sleeve is a tubular device deployed on slickline across the affected safety valve, creating a sealed annulus. The Syringe is then filled with a concentrated chemical solution designed to dissolve debris or deposits causing valve dysfunction. The Syringe is lowered into the Soak Sleeve and the chemical solution is discharged into the annulus between the Sleeve and the safety valve. The chemical soaks the valve components to dissolve blockages and restore operability. After soaking for a defined period, the Syringe can be re-run with fresh solution until valve functioning is restored. The Soak Sleeve contains the chemicals in the target zone during treatment. The one-run Subsea Syringe variant allows a single deployment of the charged Syringe, negating the need for multiple runs. The Soak Sleeve and Syringe system enables targeted, non-invasive remediation of safety valves through precision chemical delivery, while avoiding the need for major intervention.
