RoughNeck-22 is an ultra-rugged Class 1 Division 2-certified and Class 1 Zone 2 and IECEX certified Hazard Location (HazLoc) Panel PC designed for use in harsh outdoor environments such as MWD/LWD operations in the oil and gas industry. It features a 15.6-inch or 22-inch LCD screen and a rugged, reliable computing system built for challenging conditions.

The RoughNeck is designed with a custom board integration space, allowing the user to embed specific components such as pressure decoders, modems, and other boards directly into the system. This customizable and upgradeable feature makes it well-suited for various industrial applications.

The panel PC boasts an IP65 rating for all sides, providing protection against dust and water ingress. It can operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +60°C, and its fanless and heaterless design ensures reliable operation without moving parts. The system also supports wireless connectivity and is lightweight for easy deployment.

Other key features include a capacitive multi-touch screen with an optional high brightness of up to 1000 nits, next-generation Intel processors, and a completely sealed, weather-resistant enclosure.
