PureMetrics
Real-Time Emissions Monitoring and Reporting System for Maritime & Offshore
PureMetrics™ provides real-time measurement of methane (CH₄), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and CO₂e directly from engine exhaust. Designed for LNG dual-fuel, gas-powered and other conventional vessels, it helps operators prepare for emissions compliance under frameworks such as EU MRV, IMO DCS, and EU ETS, while reducing uncertainty and improving emissions transparency.
The system leverages certified emissions monitoring equipment to capture exhaust gas composition across multiple engine stacks. Data is securely transmitted to a cloud-based platform, where it is processed into standardised reports and emissions insights. This enables traceable, audit-ready outputs and continuous operational visibility.
How It Works
Certified sensors are installed on the engine’s exhaust line to measure CH₄ and CO₂, along with flow, temperature, and pressure. A single multi-gas analyser automatically rotates through up to six exhaust stacks by a PLC-controlled auto-sequencing valve block. The data reflects real-world combustion conditions and is processed using internationally recognised methodologies, including CDM Tool 8. Operators can monitor trends, benchmark performance, and optimise maintenance using verified data across all engine loads.
