M4 Mercury Monitoring System

Specializing in Precise, Accurate, and Reliable Onsite Mercury Measurements

ISCT M4 volatile metals measurements systems are specifically designed to measure total gaseous mercury, arsenic and selenium in process gas streams such as natural gas, sour gas, fuel gas, LNG, LPG, butane, ethylene, propylene, hydrogen, carbon dioxide and Syngas. M4 systems and sample teams can be deployed from Texas, South Africa and New Zealand to support measurements projects for upstream, midstream and downstream assets globally. Services include Mercury Rumoval Unit performance evaluations, mercury mapping, distribution studies and total asset management.

Pro/con

Redesigned with new inert materials
Multiple sample trains to run gold or solid sorbent traps plus functional speciation traps
Strict QA/QC criteria
Different configurations to connect to a detector, mobile Cold Vapour Atomic Fluorescence Spectroscopy (CVAFS) or onsite analysis using combustion method
Minimized effects from wet gas environments
Provide long term integrated average concentrations
Reduced deployment costs – light weight, mobile and can travel with sample team
Designed for extreme environments (-10˚F – 125˚F)
Measurements for mercury, arsenic, selenium
Providing accurate and reliable data could mean asset managers may have to revisit former risk models where data was collected 5-10 years ago with less precision

About ISCT

ISCT specializes in precise, accurate, and reliable onsite mercury assessments, partitioning studies, functional and molecular speciation to quantify mercury and other volatile metals throughout the process.  We have a unique approach to understanding mass flux, mass loading, and distribution in hydrocarbon processing systems to develop mercury management processes, chemical decontamination solutions, chemistry, and waste minimization plans. ISCT provides comprehensive solutions based on mercury distribution and mass loading including mercury chemical decontamination.
