KEMILUX Rust Solvent

EASILY CLEAN AND RESTORE RIG PAINTWORK TO A SHINE

Kemilux rust solvent is an easy-to-use paintwork cleaning agent that removes rust stains, as well as general dirt and contaminant build-up. commonly found on marine paintwork subject to harsh offshore environments.
Easy to use - apply neat or diluted, just like a regular rig wash - brush or spray onto the surface. Leave to work for about 15 -20 minutes and the rust staining, dirt, and other contaminants will disappear - rinse with water.

On most occasions, surfaces will appear as newly painted, revealing the original luster and shine. Depending on how heavily stained, re apply using the same procedure until rust and dirt contaminants have gone.

WHAT SURFACES CAN RUST SOLVENT BE APPLIED TO?

• Metal-painted surfaces
  Ferrous metal surfaces cast iron, alloys of iron with other metals
• (such as with stainless steel) Fibreglass
  Plastic
  Ceramic and wooden surfaces
• Clean painted surfaces with rust solvent to ensure a better undercoat
  when repainting.
• Cleans and passivates ferrous metal surfaces inhibiting further corrosion.

• Washing paintwork with Rust solvent ensures an ideal surface for new paint.  

  
  Strongly tarnished copper objects can also be treated advantageously with Rust solvent. After treatment time and rubbing, rinse the surface with clean water.

  Rust solvent is ideal for outside maintenance on ships and other surfaces which are exposed to an aggressive and corrosive environment.
