Wax Intelligence is a predictive monitoring system that:

• Scans your historian intelligently and identifies pipeline and infrastructure at risk of wax deposits
• Automatically generates a dashboard showing your current wax risk profile
• Can be used to alert you when you are in a waxing state

The system provides a current snapshot through a KPI panel. The most critical indicator is the 5-day wax metric.

• Wax Intelligence warns the operator when a waxing condition has been ongoing for a minimum of five days, it prevents small issues from escalating into major pipeline blockages, which are extremely costly and time-consuming to resolve.
• It automatically detects whether a temperature is showing flow of oil and gas, which is a fundamental piece of information needed for accurate diagnostics.
• Engineers can use this insight to optimize their chemical inhibitor injection or pigging schedules (mechanical cleaning) to be performed only when the risk is high, rather than operating on a conservative, fixed schedule.
• Key output data, such as Flowing Status is made available in the KPI historian, meaning other Industrial App Store applications can easily access and use that data to improve other parts of the plant's operation.
