A very busy day and a great attendance! Thanks to
Infinity Gauntlet
Actuator safety at an affordable price
The INFINITY GAUNTLET is a Lloyd's Register Technically Qualified, World-wide patent protected safety device composed of advanced para-aramid materials (such as KevlarTM or TwaronTM) which creates a shield for your degraded stored-energy assets. Designed to retain the spring force of a degraded actuator which is at risk of catastrophic failure while in service, non-operational or decommissioned, protecting people and equipment from not only an un-contained spring failure, but also the shrapnel that can result from release of the stored energy.
The INFINITY GAUNTLET can be used for protecting the surrounding equipment and personnel whilst working on the actuator, decommissioning the actuator, and transporting the degraded actuator to the beach for recycling/re-use by Infinity.

Customer Focus
Each Gauntlet is designed to your particular actuator and its environment. No two installations are the same. Very little dimensional and process information is required and a site survey is optional.
Cost
Keeping your costs to a minimum allowing you to implement the Gauntlet solution at low cost.
Scalability
There is no limit to the scalability of the Gauntlet.
Certifications / licences
Certified by Lloyd's Register under a rigorous development and testing programme.
Material
The Gauntlet uses para-aramid "bullet proof" Kevlar* / Twaron* woven fibre layers to protect personnel and assets from uncontained shrapnel if the actuator fails.
Patents
It is the ONLY certified safety device approved for use on degraded actuators and is the only non-metallic solution on the market.
Protection
Gauntlets do not degrade over time, nor do they degrade when exposed to salt spray, moisture, UV light, or heat up to 400ºC. They also protect the actuator from sun, sand, and wind.
