Glenair - Mission-Critical Interconnect Solutions
Underwater Connectors
Glenair manufactures high-reliability connectors and cables for mission-critical land, sea, air, and space applications. The company began operations in 1956 producing electrical connector backshells and accessories. Building on that foundation, we now offer dozens of full-spectrum connector product lines designed to meet every electrical and optical interconnect requirement, including a broad range of military-qualified and signature connector designs such as the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III and our micro-miniature Series 80 Mighty Mouse.
Glenair is a privately-held company whose strengths include ISO 9001 process quality, full-spectrum product lines, fast "turnaround" on quotes and custom orders, unsurpassed sales and technical support in every major market in the world, and the industry's largest standing inventory of commercial and Mil-Spec electrical and optical connector components.
Located in Glendale, California, our connectors, backshells and interconnect cable assemblies are all made either in America or in our facilities in Mansfield, England, Bologna, Italy, or Salem, Germany. With so many interconnect manufacturers moving their production operations to Estonia, Mexico, India, China and elsewhere, Glenair is proud to continue our long-standing tradition of making our products in quality-controlled plants here in the USA, or in the case of selected connector products, in Western Europe.
Glenair UK designs and manufactures Subsea electrical and fibre optic connector assemblies. We have Industry Standard 'SuperG55™ Series' and 'Super66™ Series' dry mate and also rubber moulded GLMC's micro wet mate connectors - all available in the industry's fastest lead times at 5 weeks.
We also have a range of hybrid, power, junior and peak connectors made in Glendale, California, one range called SeaKing™ available in dry and wet mates and another range called Micro-Psi available with the fastest delivery in the industry.
