Hempel has developed a unique coating system to help protect from the hidden dangers of CUI.

In just two coats long term protection in hot wet environments such as those found below thermal insulation can be provided.

The system is based upon polysiloxane technology but with a unique fibre reinforced filler system which helps provide additional protection from cracking due to high temperatures and thermal cycling.

Pros & Limitations

Heat resistance up to 650°C covering multiple specification categories

Single pack eliminates mixing errors and reduces wastage

Can be applied to surfaces up to 200°C eliminating the need to shut down

Suitable for insulated and uninsulated equipment simplifying coating selection

Low halogen content – suitable for stainless steel
