Compact Valve Removal (CVR) Tool is designed for installing and retrieving valve removal (VR) plugs in tight wellbays.

It features a modular rod system for easy transport and on-site assembly.

When assembled, the tool measures 795 × 244 × 457 mm (31.3” × 9.6” × 18”).

It can be operated manually using a hand wheel and bolt torque system, or hydraulically with standard pressure equipment up to 1,200 lb/ft torque.

The CVR supports a modular flange system with various sizes and types available.

Multiple socket sizes are offered to suit client-specific VR plug profiles.

The tool can be used with a low-pressure air supply and does not require a hydraulic pressure unit for mechanical operation.

Compact and lightweight, it is ideal for use in tight spaces and restricted-access environments.

Pros & Limitations
1
Compact Design for Tight Spaces: Assembled dimensions of just 795 × 244 × 457 mm make it ideal for restricted wellbays and platform decks.
1
Modular Rod System: Enables easy transport and rapid assembly at the wellsite, perfect for remote or space-constrained operations.
1
Dual Operation Modes: Can be operated manually via hand wheel and bolt torque system, or hydraulically with standard pressure equipment up to 1,200 lb/ft torque.
