Apollo’s PALM Quick Connection System (QCS) is a plug-and-socket solution that enables fast, safe connection and disconnection of floating offshore renewable energy devices from their dynamic electrical cables. Designed for ruggedness in the marine environment, the PALM QCS removes the need for personnel transfer, duplicated pull-in equipment or the use of divers, reducing vessel time, cost and risk. Proven through offshore trials and ready for commercial deployment, PALM QCS supports efficient maintenance and tow to port operations, helping reduce cost in floating offshore renewables.
