ANB Sensors Limited: Next Generation Sensors
Calibration Free pH Sensors
Page last modified
December 7 2024
ANB Sensors have developed ruggedised calibration free solid state pH sensors that are also able to monitor temperature, salinity and conductivity. They can operate in both oceanic and freshwater environments upto depths of 1250m. They can be left deployed for long periods as they require little or no maintenance and can connect through IoT devices with in-buiilt health monitors so data accuracy can be assured. Over the lifetime of the sensor, the technology provides a 70% cost savings in comparison to current pH glass probes.
Pros & Limitations
1
70% Cost reduction due to not requiring calibration, no need for fluid replacement, can be stored wet or dry
1
Can be deployed and left in situ as has built in health monitor so can accurately tell you the health of the sensor. It is ruggedised so can work in harsh environments and can communicate data across various formats as well as storing data on the sensor.
1
The sensor has anti biofouling capabilities so maintenance is kept to a minimum
0
The sensor is not designed for heavy chemical processing plants unless it is monitoring waste water
1
Data accuracy - the sensor by the fact that it is self calibrating and has its own monitoring systems means the data accuracy can be assured.
