DELFT, NETHERLANDS --- TechnologyCatalogue.com, fastest-growing global platform for technology solutions in the energy sector, has joined forces with One Basin Three Nations (OBTN) to help in the faster uptake of technology in the Caribbean energy sector.
The partnership will bring Caribbean Energy Technology Platform in place to give operators in the region easier access to regional and global technologies and expertise needed for a more sustainable energy sector.
“We are bringing together technologies from the region and all over the world closer to the Caribbean energy operators so they can take stock of the innovative solutions used by energy companies, big and small, from other countries,” OBTN Founder and Chief Executive Officer Harvey Bijnaar said.
Bijnaar also noted that the Caribbean Energy Technology Platform will also give technology suppliers and experts a platform that will give their products and services both regional and global exposure.
Both Bijnaar and TechnologyCatalogue.com believe the Caribbean Energy Technology Platform can strengthen and complement the Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CCREEE)’s mission to “address barriers to the introduction and development of certain sustainable technologies and solutions…”
“We are open to work with industry organisations and regional groups like Caribbean Community to ensure that we are reaching as many industry players as possible. We believe the platform can facilitate knowledge sharing within the region as well as promote technological solutions for more sustainable energy in the Caribbean,” Bijnaar added.
TechnologyCatalogue.com recently forged partnerships to strengthen presence in key markets such as the United Kingdom, USA, Kuwait and India.
“TechnologyCatalogue.com’s growing network of global tech suppliers, experts and end-users in the energy sector combined with OBTN’s regional ties and knowledge ensures that we are giving Caribbean industry players tailored solutions derived from a wide range of available technologies globally,” TechnologyCatalogue.com co-founder and managing partner Erik Nijveld highlighted.
The Caribbean Energy Technology Platform will be launched in Q2 2021. Caribbean energy companies can start registering for free on www.technologycatalogue.com, pending the development of the customised portal for the region.
