Column/Vessel Corrosion

Colin Bateman discusses common corrosion mechanisms, including sour environment, caustic and amine corrosion in fractionator towers, absorbers, scrubbers, feed drums, debutanizers, amine vessels, L/HCGOs and naphtha splitters – and mitigation strategies.

Coker Heater Limitations

Next, he will touch on coker heater limitations, including integrity concerns, increased coking rate, convection section fouling, and hot spots.

Flare System, HEX, Condensers

Finally, Colin will touch on flare system fouling and degradation as well as fouling in heat exchangers and condensers.

Technologies discussed in the webinar have helped extend reliability of key mission critical assets, extend run lengths and reduce energy losses for major refineries globally.

The presentation will be case study-driven, presenting findings from projects delivered in DCUs across the globe, including both recent and inspected applications.
