At the Apil 2024 ISCWSA #59 conference held in Glasgow, the results of industry standard minimum curvature subsurface well position and ISCWSA Rev 5.0 positional uncertainty were compared to that of 3D Way-point. 3D Way-point showed more believeable positional results for the same well survey data, and significantly imporved subsurface positional uncertainies. 3D Way-point produced better well posuition and greater certainty of the reported subsurface positioning.
