Well trajectories are becoming increasingly complex and with extended deviated sections cementing and proper zonal isolation remains a concern. Overall, there has been continuous improvement, but areas for improvement include:
• Cementing under loss conditions – includes shallow zones.
• Spacer efficiency
• Cement placement on the low side of extended horizontal laterals
• Advanced stage cementing tools and packers V0 rated, mechanically activated.
• Logging tools capability and accuracy
• Tracking and improvement of Green House Case emissions in cementing
